Mental illness and lack of awareness does not excuse harassment

Authority for the proposition that the test for whether a course of conduct amounts to harassment or not is a subjective test; that of the mythical reasonable man. The fact that the defendant suffers from mental illness and so is himself unaware of the impact of his conduct does not afford a defence.
